How does TeeChip work?

TeeChip is a service that lets you sell custom merchandise with no upfront costs. We handle the printing and shipping, while our campaign creators handle the design and marketing.

TeeChip is a user-generated content service. The products available on TeeChip are designed, promoted, and offered for sale by users of our site, not by TeeChip itself. TeeChip respects the rights of IP owners and requires that its users do the same.

TeeChip utilizes a combination of multiple measures to prevent intellectual property infringement, including requiring all users to certify that each item they upload to TeeChip is non-infringing; expeditiously removing infringing content we are notified about; and terminating the accounts of repeat infringers.

Occasionally, infringing content may appear on TeeChip despite our efforts to prevent it. In these instances, we rely on consumers and rights holders like you to report suspicious activity. You can report infringing content using the instructions provided at https://teechip.com/ip.

What happens if a campaign doesn’t reach its goal?

The orders will still be printed and shipped. Unlike other websites with a “crowdfunding” model, we do not require you to meet a minimum order threshold for your campaign to be successful. You can even sell just 1 item.

Can I use TeeChip if I live outside the US?

Absolutely. We ship internationally and charge low rates for international shipping - only $5.99 plus $1.99 per additional item.

How much does shipping cost?

For US addresses: $3.99 (or $5.99 for hoodies) for the first item + $1.99 per additional item

For international addresses: $5.99 (or $7.99 for hoodies) for the first item + $1.99 per additional item

When will I receive my order?

Products are shipped in an estimated 7 to 14 days after the campaign ends.

After the order is shipped, it usually takes 1 to 4 business days for the carrier to deliver the order. For international shipments, delivery will take an additional 1 to 2 weeks.

Which size should I order?

We offer different brands (Gildan, Fruit of the Loom, and American Apparel), each with different sizing. You can view size charts here: sizes.

What is your return and replacement policy?

Because our products are custom printed and unique to each campaign, we only offer replacements on items that are materially flawed. If your order is defective, please file a claim with a photograph of the defective item.

How can I modify my order?

You can modify your order by tracking it at https://teechip.com/track_order. Please be aware that there are certain restrictions for modifying items on your order and no modifications are possible after the items have been sent to print. The rules for item modification are as follows:

  • Only garment items on campaigns which have not ended can be modified
  • Case/mug/poster items cannot be modified once placed
  • Garment sizes ranging from XS-XL cannot be modified to 2XL-5XL
  • Garment size 2XL which is modified to XS-XL will cause an automatic refund of $2 per garment ($4 for hoodies)
  • Garment sizes ranging from 3XL-5XL which are modified to XS-XL will cause an automatic refund of $3 per garment ($4 for hoodies)

How can I file a claim on my order?

Does it cost anything to launch a campaign?

Launching a campaign is 100% free. If you don’t sell anything, you lose nothing. There’s no upfront investment, and it’s completely risk-free.

Which image file formats can I upload?

Although we prefer vector files, you can upload any kind of high-resolution image.

  • Accepted filetypes: JPG, PNG, GIF, PNG, BMP, PSD, AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, TIF
  • File size limit: 5 MB
  • Minimum image resolution: 300x300

How are profits sent to me?

Payouts are sent to you via Paypal, Payoneer, or bank wire transfers. Funds are available for withdrawal between 1 day to 5 days after the completion of each campaign, depending on your account status.

How are profits calculated?

Profits are calculated using the following formula: Revenue - Production Cost - Processing Fees. Processing Fees are 7% of the gross payout amount and are used to cover customer service cost, credit card processing fees, and fraud protection.
